This is a Cool Ride......It's like the CyberSpace Mountain at Disneyquest.But not as long and the seats are not as comfortable.......think Airplane but less room.We did it twice once as a Coaster and once as a Jet.......both were very fun.

What is it they say.....Don't count your chickens before they hatch......Well since I'm not a poultry farmer I can't do that.But I do have to wonder.......Is she the one??I know it's still early in the relationship,but I really have to think that this time it may be it.Jen is the same age as I am and more ready to be a Grand Parent then a Parent.She has a 21 Year old daughter that lives with Dad in Va.She lives with her Mom and I've "Met the Parent",and Sister.....I've been told that "I Don't seem to be an Ax Murderer so He's OK".....She hasn't met the "Snowbirds" yet but that could happen next weekend just before they fly the coup and the coup turns back into a Bachelor Pad till next Dec.We both agree that my work schedule Sucks.....Working evenings Mon-Fri sure makes the Weekend more special........and I so can't wait till July when my phone contract is up and I can get a new phone with a QWERTY keyboard.......the better to Text with :D

We text everyday and I call her every night when I'm leaving work and chat all the way home.

I still have a little work to do with the the Self Esteem that is measured in negative numbers....And I still wonder "When will "Dumb Ass" fuck up somehow"...but I havn't so far so that is that................

The "Dead Snail" is still wanting to move at the pace,faster then the speed of light but for now I'll take it at the slow pace and pray that "maybe,just maybe....This is the Wish I've been Wishing for"

With 75 percent of the season in the books, Minnesota has taken control of the NFC North. There have been plenty of ups and downs already in the Black and Blue division, but the Vikings' dominating second-half performance at the Metrodome suggests they are capable of pulling off their first division title since the 2000 season.

Most important, the Vikings are the only team that can win the division without help. They have the toughest remaining schedule, including home games against Atlanta (8-4) and the N.Y. Giants (11-1) to end the season. But after consecutive double-digit victories over Jacksonville and the Bears, you would have to say the Vikings are the only North team playing their best football during the most important part of the season.

The Bears will be left to wonder what might have happened if quarterback Kyle Orton hadn't thrown three second-half interceptions. But no matter what the explanation, the Bears will now need some help -- namely, from the Vikings -- to win a division they have led for most of the season.

It's a Pontiac Vibe..............it's not "New",it's an 06.Nothing fancy,that's for sure but it's about what I was looking for.......didn't want a smaller car.......I drive I Fear,I mean I4 too much and just didn't want a Deathtrap on wheels.......Didn't want anything bigger most because it's just me,the king and my clubs in the back.......and didn't want to drive something that would suck cash right from my pocket in gas mileage either so no SUV.......so for the next 5 years I'll be working about 50 hours a week to pay for it,but work did say that they would be happy if I came in early and picked up a weekend shift from time to time so I won't be looking for a "part time" at least for now

As the description said

This is something that they do every Sunday....hens the name I'm sure,and it was the first time I and we had every paid for any of the cooking demos.I was a little sceptical about it but thought it would be fun.........When I learned that I paid 65$ for a Buleberry Muffin,and Oatmeal Scone,I was even more sceptical.....
Well staring with the Continental Breakfest....I was thinking it would be rolls,donuts,fruit,coffee and juice.......Well they didn't have any rolls or donuts but they did have the fruit,coffee and juice.......along with very yummy bread......I tried the Chocolate Mango bread..........any bread with Chocolate gets a thumbs up with me...Oven browned potatoes with dices peppers and onions,Country ham and white chedder frittata,Wood smoked Bacon and Chicken Apple Sausage..........and as you're going back to your table they offer Martini & Rossi Prosecco.........if there could ever be a "Breakfest Wine" that's it.....and as they say at the Food and Wine Fest......Wine before 11,you're in Heven..........

So after that,then the Guest bakers talk and cook

If anyone remembers on the Food Network,Warren Brown was the host of Sugar Rush.....He also has a few shops in the Washington DC area.

The Blueberry Muffin was warm and filled with Blueberries,the Scone was yummy and was served with Martini & Rossi Asti Spumante........a sweet sparking wine........

but the best part was the Milk and............

Once again we have seen another Food and Wine Fest come and go.........So many fine memories and a few blurry ones too.

I so enjoy just walking the Worldshowcase and noshing from Country to Country and trying different Libations from around the World..............Or waiting in line for the Seminars....which as some may remember from years in the past were always made to wait outside in the baking sun or poring rain.....but not this year....Though,the Wonders of Life building is so far away from the rest of the Fest.......being indoors and in the AC it was well worth the walk.

Tried a wine from 1973 at one of those.....the maker said there were 12 cases total that still were around and they brought 6 bottles with them to have us try.........for someone that 2003 is an old wine,something that was made when I was 5 is ancient

This year I did my first paid events.We did the South African Wine Adventure......Great fun and more wine then I can remember.......O yah,,,,the food was good too.

We did a food and wine pairing at the new Italian Restaurant too...........Great Wines and Wonderful Food.

Did it for the Bling

Well I'm sure by now you've seen the "Bling" that everyone got for finishing the Race....or I should say walk for me.......well I promised myself some Bling too if I finished.
Way back in April when I signed up I knew it would be a bit of a challenge....To think that when I started walking I could hardly make it a quarter mile.Then in May when I had the Stress Test...Well after that I felt that I would never walk again.....and I still think Tread Mills are an Evil Contraption of horror.I was down for 2 weeks after that.I couldn't even make a quarter mile when I started back up and even taking it slowly it was a challenge that I really didn't think I would ever make it to 4+ miles.....but I kept going.
As the Summer led on it got easier.I was able to,after a couple weeks bump it up to two miles a day and that was OK....I was still feeling it in the calf's when I was done with my walking but it wasn't the kind of pain that would "Kill me"...more like "No Pain no Gain".And that was what I would call my Regular Loop.
I then added the third mile on a couple days a week.That one was a little harder because before then I was doing loops around my complex and the farthest I ever was from home was a half mile.So that if for any reason I wanted to cut it short I could.....even if it meant cutting through a yard or two.......But with the 3 mile loop I would go out to the main road by the complex and the farthest I would get from home was a mile and a half......and yes....there were a few times I thought that either calling a cab or 911 was going to be needed but I still did it.....I laugh because I found that I was faster on the return then I was on the first mile and a half......and I can only think that on the return I was telling myself......"The Faster you get back,the faster you can sit on your Ass"
Now while all this was going on.In the June I stopped smoking...the First couple days were no picnic and in fact after 5 days I had one......almost killed me then and there.I had a couple when I went back to MN for my Grandmothers Funeral but those where more "When in Rome".......one more in Aug. when I was waiting for AAA to come jump start my car.....that one I only took two drags and snuffed it out.....I think one more drag and I would have pucked......but since then,not a single one and I hope at least for today to never have another one......I still take it one day at a time but every day it gets easier.
So by Mid August I was doing a 3 mile loop two or three days a week and was feeling great about my goal to do the 6.5K.Had a couple set backs though....I've learned that no mater what,even if it's just for a mile,to never take time off.....I took a week off because of work and the return back to walking was almost like starting over.
In Sept. I started adding the fourth and final mile to my goal...that one for the most part was OK...there were days when I just dreaded doing it but then there were also days that when I was done I felt that I could have kept going for a few more miles.I laughed at myself because when I did the 4 mile loop it would take me an hour and a half and I always said to myself as I started "So what would you like to do for an hour and a half.Well sit on my ass and eat Cheese Puffs but I guess I'll go for a walk instead"
I guess that's why I respect what Terry did...If it was me and when I went to sign up all that was left was the 13k I would have said screw that.There is no way in Hell I could have done that...even with more training.....Now next year is a different story.....I know I can do the 13 and look forward to the training for it......and maybe even the 10k that they have for the F&W Fest too
But I know by now you're thinking "Enough with the Monica Post" what's the Bling you got for doing the 6.5K

It's the 8GB and He's called Flamingo King II........so now to figure out what to get for doing the 13k next year :D

OK......So I get in late Thursday night.........of course Alamo has no compacts left so I'm stuck with a free upgrade to the full size......So I get in the car and head on my way....I'm starving so I'm headed to the White Castle on the way to my brothers.I get some sliders,onion chips and a diet coke......a pop,not a soda........after the late night snack I'm back in the car.......Still dinkin' with the seat,the radio,the mirrors....when sure enough....the lights flash and there is one of St. Paul's Finest behind me.He asked for the DL,Insurance and registration.I give him the DL,insurance and Tell him it's a rental...He said he knew that and I show him the paper work for that.......He asked how fast I was going...I tell him I'm not sure,30 maybe 35....He says 40 and it's a 30 mile an hour zone......He then tells me to slow down and have a good vacation.......Thank God for that one
The next morning I'm walking out the car and I see there is no plate on the front......I'm thinking,Well this in MN and I know they have plates on the front......where the F is the plate.....

Gramma Stopa's Clock

So.......When I was a little boy....early to mid 70's...whenever we would go to my Grandmothers House I would always see this clock on the wall and would ask why it never got used......my Grandmother would say that it's just an old clock that her mother had.....She used it once for about 5 minutes just so I could hear it......Well even then I knew it was an Antique and I told her that if I never got anything else I wanted that clock........and so it stayed hanging on her wall until sometime in the early 80's when she finally decided to give it to Dad......Well he had it cleaned,learned that it really is just a basic "Kitchen" Clock circa 1915-17.....And up on the wall it went and we used it........It bongs out the hour count and a single bong at the 1/2.Many a time I would lay in bed just listening to the clock Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day.Well once I flew the coup and got my own nest I asked when I would get my clock......And they just would never give it up.I thought when they retired and sold the house in the Cities and moved up the the Lake House that I would get it then.......Nope.....It found a home there too.
Jump ahead to 2002.....When I was packing the car for a drive....granted I knew that if I didn't find a job I would be coming back home with a nice tan but I still wanted to take the clock on a trip to FLA. They said they would bring it the next time "If and only if you have your own place".Well I got a job,got my own place and I wanted my clock.........well for 4 years it went on like that....When the Snowbirds would pack the car I would ask if the clock was part of the packing and they would say no.So last year when they bought the Palace I said it was time for the clock to make the move.....And that's what it did this year......We had it cleaned again,had some 90 year old parts replaced and up on the Wall she went.So now she proudly chimes the hour and 1/2 hour for me and I get to once again lay in bed listening to her tick away the hours.I know that one day,If I ever conceive a little mouse it will be theirs.......or it will one day go to my Niece and a child of hers so it stays in the Miskowiec Family but until then she will hang on the wall and be loved

The Palace Music Room

Well........I hired an Orchestra for the Palace and put them in a Music Room........It's the King's Royal Philharmonic Orchestra............They play some Incredible Tunes.Lots of Supertramp,Grateful Dead,Pink Floyd,Stones,Radiators,Da Who,Diana Krall,Neal Young...Just to name a few......They are not the biggest....infact they are the smallest...1GB.......but for me and the Palace......I love them......I know they will make taking walks so much more enjoyable...........and besides....I could have spent the money on a.....TMI on that thought and really.......They will last and get me much more enjoyment then what I could have got......

So I know I should keep my chin up,just keep swimming,look on the bright side......all those happy thoughts.........well when you feel like a pile of chum in a shark tank it gets a little tough.I guess the main thing that really gets me down is that really,for the most part........Of the number of people I know in Florida who on a given day would call up and say "Hay,what cha doing,want to meet at a park or something".......I can count on one finger........I know a few others but they have never,that I can think of,ever called to ask if I wanted to meet up with them........no surprise really........So that's why I was so happy to have a new friend....someone else to be able to hang out with.....if it grew from there,that would have been nice but really just another friend was all I was looking for...............

On some rare occasions I'm woke up from a dream but this time it was kind of scary...well for me at least and really...I wouldn't call it enlightening,just another reason for Zippy to live up to his Pin Head name.

The dream was interesting as that it was set in the workplace,but there were people from all over my past,some from high school,coworkers from jobs I had many years ago,some from the job I have now,and even a few complete strangers..........Anyways........I had hit it off with a coworker....which in it self is a no-no in my book for too many reasons but that's another story all together.............Anyways........we were talking about about how it was nice to have finally had a date after playing the "Q and A" game back and forth between each other and were in the process of walking across a field...........the back football field from High School non the less......when we were approached by 2 guys.........1 from high school,one from the first job I had flipping burgers at the castle.......and I can't think that ever in my life that I can remember they were ever around me at the same time but in this dream they were............I was telling them that now was not a good time to bother us and they got the picture,in the mean time she had moved a little ways ahead of us.........That's when I made the comment to them "It's Plausible Deni ability"(sounds like a Republican Scapegoat phrase to me)............"I'll try is once,see how it goes,and if it works we'll move on from there"........at that point she starting running....I caught up to her and she had tears running down her face...she was pissed,and hurt too......She smacked me on the forehead and said "Zippy,you really do have Foot in mouth disease don't you........You just don't think sometimes what you're saying before it comes out of your mouth.........You're a warm wonderful guy that any lady would be more then happy to be around but there are times that you just don't think........If it's not a statement with a sexual innuendo attached to it,it's a smart ass comment or just a plain stupid statement"........

That's when I woke up.........and for the most part she's right...........I did it the other day with Alice and she called me on it...........She knew,from knowing me,that it was just a plain stupid statement on my part that I had made and that I just didn't think before it came out of my mouth but by saying it I could have been crapping a Reebok because my foot was so far in my mouth.

And she's right.........far too often I don't think about my actions before I make them.......maybe that's why I truly enjoy the life of the mouse I lead sometimes............

Well............The second Date has come and gone and I think it went Great IMO..........She has a friend in from out of town so we met up at Downtown Disney.....they hadn't been there in a while and I wanted them to come to my end of town..........We ate at the Rainforest.....Great food,plenty of it and we even had a Volcano....that's their signature Desert and it's Hugh....3 people can't finish it...well we may have been able to but we wouldn't have been able to move afterwords.........Really noneventful other then the peck on the lips when we were saying Good By Bet you can guess what color I was when I kissed her. Her friend took our picture so once I get that I'll just have to post it I'm sure..........No plans as yet for round 3 but I'm sure by the end of the weekend we'll have something planned.........so keep checking back and I'm sure I'll mention it someplace other then here......thanks for the kind suport and keep the suggestions coming........

So........Friday night I left home way early,one,because I wasn't sure how far it was and didn't know what traffic would be like,two.....because I hate to be late for anything...I would rather be 20 minutes early then even 1 minute late.......for anything..

anyways,I show up about a half hour early so I get a seat at the bar and order a drink to take the edge off and to kill time.that's about 5:30 or so and the Date is for 6........at 6 I figure OK...so she's late........6:15 and I start to wonder.......by 6:30 I figure....well.....stood up....figures.......And I decide to step outside to have a smoke and to check my email from my phone.........well she had sent me an email saying she had tried calling twice but I never called her back........well I call her back and find out that the number she had was the wrong number so that explains why I never called her back........so we decide to try again tonight.

Same time,same place.............

Well,once again I was early.........no surprise there really......same thing...I sit at the bar for a cocktail to take the edge off......at 6 I step outside to give her a call and there she is.....She said she had been waiting a few minutes so there we are............Since it was a "First Date" I didn't have to worry that much about the "Art of Small Talk".

Everything went well.....I guess......we talked and had a nice meal.........and plan on doing something again next weekend too.....................so there you have it.......the world didn't end...at least I don't think so.....I didn't go straight to hell....well not yet......I don't think I turned into a pile of stupid.......well not a big one at least...............and yes,I was the gentleman and picked up the check........no Dutch for me...not on the first date at least

So..........Third times a Charm........or was it Three Strikes you're out.........I'm still not sure at this point and I guess that's what I have to deal with.The other night I tried the Speed Dating thing again and this time I was matched with someone.....well in a sense you could say that.......She's in her mid 40's and has 2 grown kids..........She sent me an email to see if I want to meet up with her this weekend and I haven't replied back yet............I know I should but alas the swing I've been riding for years starts to kick in even more.................

Nothing new really that you might not already know.Had a nice time meeting up with Jo and DP when they were here............Don't care if Banana's in French Toast is the signature breakfest........it still woudn't get me to eat bananas.I wish I had remembred my camera the last time Lawn Boy was working so I could take a picture of the lights he put up on the house but I'll get that the next time I'm there and it's dark out.Going to the Very Merry Party tomorrow and that should be fun.........we'll have matching sweatshirts and Santa Hats so we'll have to get a picture........and the King won't be left out either,thanks to mom and the sewing machine

I now have a little over 8 hours of music ripped into the computer and I burned my first CD from it too........it's great to be able to just rip what songs I want from CD's.........

Alice loved the DVD palyer I got her for her birthday......It was funny because a few days before I gave it to her she told me she was watching a movie on her computer.........a big 15 inch Screen......a step up from her laptop with the 9 inch screen...........now she can watch them on the punny 19 inch TV she has but I know that will be upgraded at somepoint too but not by me

You may not care but I'm on a new "Happy Pill" and really for the most part it seems to be working........I'm still sceptical because as I've said I can't believe that a pill can change the way a person thinks but that I also know from way too much expirience that "Chemicals" can do strange things with the mind.

For a person that Dreads and really just doesn't like the Holidays,I'm kind of looking forward to them.....might be the fact I'll be taking a drive to Vero to set some golfballs free for my Birthday.And because I know soon after that the "Snowbirds" will be here for the rest of the winter.

No news really just felt like saying Hi and hello from warm Florida.....since it's soon to be turning cold everywhere else.........As the Maid and Buttle remind me that they have less then 2 months before they come down for Thanksgiving and then another month and a half after that when they turn into Snowbirds for 2 months.....I'm asked from time to time if I'm ever going to come back for the holidays.....I remind them that since it still seems to be cold and Ugly White Stuff falls from the sky in MN in Dec. I just can't seem to make it there...........Maybe some day......but since I'm soon to be 5 years from seeing that "Stuff" I have no interest in going back to see it again......as I say......I like my snow to taist like soap as I'm walking down Mainstreet USA or New York Ave...............

OK.............So I'll have to play with this more to figure out how to move pictures and get text inbetween them.....but these are a couple pics from the band I saw last night.The New Orleans Radiators...............They are a band that when I was in MN I saw 4 or 5 times a year for 2 or three shows at a run but now in FL they only come around twice a year...........Anyways yesterday was just another Fishhead Fest.Saw some old friends,had a great time and thanks to Traci I even got to take some IMO great picturs.

One great thing about the band is they have a tapers section and a frend of mine has a DAT recorder so sooner or later I'll be about to burn the show onto a disk.

So it's interesting how much a person can miss the net when they don't have it at thier beck and call but once they do have it they find that it's just the SSDD.Although I've found it will be nice to surf the sites I always seem to go to and couldn't while at the library because there is only so much you can do in an hour.I've found it's nice to be able to read the papers from MN and not have to read the Orlando Fishwrap to keep up with the news,and it's nice to keep up with the world back home.Ofcorse now I get to surf the normal sites and lurk the others more often.......I'll be able to read and keep up with what seems like a 100 blogs....Is there anyone that doesn't have one??.I've already found it handy for the Handymouse........... www.hgtv.com is a great site.......and www.foodnetwork.com is a favorite too.

Every Waking Moment

Well maybe not every one.......There must be a few Nanoseconds a day it's not on my mind......But really not that many.And it's not the Train wreck I'm talking about......That for the most part is still in the back of the cobwebs of the mind but not in the front and really for the most part I'm able to keep it there........It's something else that I just have to convince myself that I know will never happen and I think for the good of the whole thing that it shouldn't but like most things........I hold out that maybe....Just maybe it could........

Lawnboy and the handymouse have a few projects planned for the next few weekends.........One will be to finale move boxes from the garage to the attic,with that done I'll be able to put up the garage door opener..That should be a fun project.I also have a project of building a screen porch for the deck in back......That one will be fun because I know Alice really wants it done so I think I'll suprice her and do it one of these weekends............Then we'll be able to sit in back and not be eaten alive by the mosquitoes......I have to say it's fun being the Handymouse though.....I get to do guy things and I know it's very appreciated and with the Will Work for Food sign it works out great for me............The lawn is a different story......For the most part it looks OK but not great....I'm just waiting till fall because Lawn work in the summer sucks IMO...Too Freakin' Hot to be out there with a rake and worrying about the lawn.....But come fall I'll put more time into it.........It doesn't need much really just a good raking and fertilizer..........Then with a little more work come next spring it will look beautiful I hope

Well I guess that's if for now..............I look forward to seeing the parents for Thanksgiving and it sounds like I may be going to Vero for Christmas Dinner this year.....That should be fun

Well I had Alice type up two "Pixie Dust" Dripping letters that I had to submit with my rehire App.........Turned those in today so now it's just a matter of waiting.I was told that what will happen is that there is one person that deals with just the rehire Apps and that she will review it and then turn it over to a board of 5 or 6 recruiters for them the review.If they feel I should be rehired then they do the background check to make sure I'm not a pediphile/ax murderer/Freak...........Well OK 2 out of 3 isn't bad.........Once that is all done they will call me and say either Yes you can be rehired and I go in for an interview or they will tell me Sorry,try again later................I hope it's the first of the two...........But at this point it's just a matter of waiting.........

Well I went to Casting this morning and did the whole stand in line,fill out the app,wait,then talk to a recruiter .Basically it's the same as what they told me last year...........I have to write a Pixie Dust Gushing letter stating why I was terminated and why they should rehire me.I also have to get a letter from my Manager at my old job that also is Pixie Dust Gushing stating why I'm such a great employee.Alice will be helping me with those......From there it will go before a parole Board and they will decide if the Death Penalty should be lifted or not.......................So that's were that stands.......Sunday is chore day at the house so after I finish my chores she's going to help me write those out then hopefully next Monday I can go back to Casting and turn those in and wait for the next step

Really that's about it.......Handymouse will be putting up a garage door opener soon......one thing...the blinds I put up went OK........except for the ones over the sliding glass door in the back..........Zippy didn't measure right so they are nonoinches too short.........but other then that they all look fine.....and the House warming presents were well liked too....an 8 bottle wine cooler from me and Mom made some Tink placemats and pot holders for her......I picked out the fabric though

It's been a quite week in Lake Flamingo.Work has been going well and I seem to enjoy it.The people I work with are nice and the company even bought us lunch on Friday.I still haven't gone to Casting yet.......Guess I'm just too lazy and I seem to be in the mind set that it's a crap shoot anyways....But I wouldn't know that unless I try......Seems like the story of my life though......Maybe sometime this week though......I have to get myself to think that I'll never know unless I try....

Unlike something else........I did know but I tried anyways.......(What?? Did you really think the Favorite wasn't going to win??(inside Joke to myself))It was nice to cook a wonderful Diner for Alice for Mothers Day....I know she really appreciated it since she didn't have anyone here to help her celebrate it.......Although Sherri does come down next weekend for the Summer.

I've been told that most people have this thing called a weekend that happens on Saturdays and Sundays........I've always had Days off but they were during the week........now I have my days off and they are on the weekends..........seems like a strange concept to me.....I just figured it was some strange thing everyone talked about but some of us never get to do................like a few other things in life but enough about that :D

The first week of the job went well.....I really thing I'm going to enjoy it and for now I'm happy.....although I guess I'm glad the TV season is almost over because I don't know what I would do since I'll be working 3:30- midnight I'll be missing all the shows during the week........I may look into getting TEVO but I'll wait on that till this fall I think and atleast untill I know what my budget is going to be like.

I plan to make a trip to Casting either this week or next just to see what the "warden" has to say.........I like the job but really....I didn't move down here to just go to the parks...I want to help make the magic too......

I do have some other things going on in my life....but for now I'll just leave that where it is and not even try to open that door since it would IMO....be more of a can of worms then anything else............

otherwise...........All is well in the Palace and I'll let you know how the trip to casting goes after I make it......

Well it's been a short time so I thought I would bring everyone up to date..........like you don't all know already anyways.

I start a new job tomorrow and I'm really excited about it.......It's for Rosen Resorts in Central Res. and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it a ton more then the last job just because I won't have to deal with Stupid Timeshare Owners.

Had a great time with Larilyn when she was out here.....although I wish we could have gone on that God Forsaken Ride together..............maybe next time............

If all goes as planned I'll be the new Handyman,Lawnboy,anything that requires manual Labor person for a friends new house.........must be that Will Work for Food sign she sees me with :lol:

Nothing new really to write about.The Snowbirds are back safe and sound in the Great North Woods of Minnesota.I've redone my resume and I hope to start looking for a new Dead End Job this week.........I also plan to make Disney one of the places I'll go to,to see if the Death penalty can be lifted yet.I'm looking forward to my vacation soon so that should be fun............

Just to add a couple cents :D..........Since I won't have much vacation time left and if I have a new Job I won't have any I don't see myself taking a trip the second week of September........but I do plan to get a cheesy Lawn Orniment with 8 different costumes for a gift or something along those lines :D..................................and I'm placing my bet now that by the end of the year I'll be starting the Win A Brand New Car thread again but that's just my .02

Well yesterday was interesting.Of the 8 Ladies I could have met 3 were No-Shows.Of the 5 that were there 2 were nice but I could tell that neither of them were interested in me and I really wasn't in them either.So when I get the chance to fill in my sheet online I'll say yes to the other 3 and see where it leads to and see if they were interested enough in me to lead to another meeting.I'll bet the favorite though and guess that Casey went 0 for 3..............I know I think I sell myself short all the time,but to me it's true...........I don't have much to offer and after the fact I always think of things I could have said and talked about but didn't.....there was one lady who said she likes to go out but a nice night to her was a nice diner at home and a movie......Zippy didn't seem to register that one as a perfect set up for "I love to cook but I hate to do it just for myself"

I guess it just leads me to what someone told me once............I spend too much time expecting Ms Right to just walk up to me,smack me on the side of the head and say "Here I am...what next?"

Well.......As Wednesday gets closer I get more nervous.Tell me everything about yourself in 6 minutes.........Yah..Sure.....That's easy.I guess I shouldn't complain since I'm such a stellar conversationalist anyways that 6 minutes should be a snap for me..........6 1/2 would be a challenge but I think I can handle 6.And really if I can find some nice lady that would be interested in Diner and a Movie(My Treat.....Atleast on the first date)I won't complain.

Ever get a song stuck in your head and no mater what you do or thing or say you just can't seem to get it out.............Well I've got one and it's worse then "Little Planet".........And for me you know it's got to be bad......I've tried everything......I've listened to the song from start to finish,I've even listened to an extended cut live version.......What ever I do it still comes back.....I think of other songs and they all seem to medley back into it.It really wouldn't be so bad but it's a song that has a rather unspecial memory for me behind it and the one time that I did hear it played on the radio........................O well.......Life goes on and I guess I should be thankful that it's not some god forsaken melody from a boat ride in Fantasyland

Thank You for the kind words......As they say "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff"......Well I'm a pro at making a grain of sand a boulder the size of Everest.

Well the Mighty Casey steps up to bat again on the 8th of March.I signed up for another Speed dating event and I guess since it will be my 3rd time in 4 years I figure I would give it one more shot.......The first time I met 10 ladies that night and out of the 9 I said I would like to meet again none of them felt the same way about me...............The second time there were 12 and I said yes to 8.......Same thing........So I'm batting 0-17.I would like to think that I would get a hit this time.........If for nothing else at least Dinner and a Movie my treat.It's not like I'm looking for an LTR......Although it would be nice if it grew into that and I'm not a One Night Stand kind of person either....Although I wouldn't pass that up either I mean come on I am a guy.

I guess it's just because as I see it the Friends that I know socially I can count on one finger really,and it's not that I don't know other people it's just that I'm not in their "Click" I guess that they would never think to include me if it was a group thing or something like that.........And as for the people I work with,since I seem to be the one that speaks a fouren language it just

doens't work when they talk about going out.......That and I just hate the Bar Sceen anyways.

First off.....Fuck you........I'm just as sick of listening to me whine as you are but at least you don't have to live with it.

I guess with Tuesday about to come and go again I believe that for another years it's over......The holidays have come and gone,the Birthday is over,the feel of a New Year has come and past and once again that day in February that so many seem to enjoy for so many reasons is just another day to me.

With those out of the way,I can get on with the regular Whining....Not just the holiday and Winter Whining.

Some interesting news though.........I'm happy for them.......Very Jealous as I am with anyone that has been able to find a Significant other,but over all I'm happy for them and I hope they fine happiness together for a long time too....................Although if I was a bettin' man I would guess who will wear the pants in the family and make all the desitions..........And I know for a fact there won't ever be a guess as to who has to move where.......But that's just my opinions that isn't worth the time it takes to spell check it I guess.

One other sad note.......At least for now.........I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to close another door......I'm sure I'll look in the window from time to time but I've convinced myself that I just can't open it again because of what I've done and said over the last few months and I just don't feel comfortable there anymore................(insert "God he really is a Freak and an Idiot isn't he." here).I've lived the life of a mouse for so long that it's just easyer to run away and hide then to try to change what I am..................

Don't get me wrong,I love her dearly..................But there are times I'm thankful I'm a 4 hour plane trip and a 3 hour drive away from her.Yesterday Dear Mother took it upon herself to clean my exile...........It's the small porch at the Condo that has a small table,4 chairs(one is broken but works great for a footrest),a plant that I haven't killed yet,2 ashtrays,and a little table ashtray that was an erloom from my grandmother that when they were dividing up the possetions I said I don't want anything else but that ashtray.There was also the small BBQ grill I use that was rusted but still worked for me.Well anyways she washed off the table and if you know Florida it was clean for about 15 minutes it seems but then is dusty again in no time..........Wanted me to run the ashtrays through the dishwasher.......Now this is the same person that if I even thought of lighting a cigarette in the condo....She could smell it from MN......So I said I would not do that because I knew for the next 2 months I would have to listen to her complain that she could taste ash on every dish that came out of the dishwasher ........I also complained that they are only ashtrays and they sit outside anyways....Why should they have to look like new........They're ashtrays............She has also got me a few times now with calling me into the kichen to do something,I'll finish that task,go back to sit down and as soon as I sit she will call me again to do something else.....................and don't get me started with the talking from another room and expecting to be able to hear her...........................

The Joys of Jury Duty.....Or something like that

So now that my "Adventure" from last month is done what do I get from Osceola County but a summons for Jury Duty..........So far it hasn't been that bad.........But with my luck I'll be picked for some trial that will go on for ever

Well the day started out that I had to be there by 8AM.........So I get there at about 7:45 and like everything else it seems in Central Florida I had to hurry up and wait in line.They started checking people in at about 8 and they send you into a "Holding Pen" room with about 100 chairs.They had coffee and tea for you to drink and there were vending machines of you wanted pop.....Or soda.....They also have computers there for you to surf or play games.........Although I did learn that they have a firewall that's like Fort Knox it seems........But I brought a book to read so I didn't surf that much and you can' only play so much solitaire before it gets boring.......Anyways the morning dragged and the case that they had was posponed so at 11:15 they sent us on break and said be back at 1:15

Back from lunch and more sitting and reading and time killing..........One other thing they had was a small courtyard with tall walls....A nice little exile for those that needed it :D.........Anyways at about 2 they called 22 people out and I was one of them..They take us up to meet the Judge and lawyers.....They ask a few questions and after that they send us out into the hall.......After a 10 minute wait they call out 7 numbers........Mine was one of them so there I was on a Jury .

The case was the State of Florida VS. Some "Not so fine a man who only spoke Spanish"......For lack of a better name

Anyways,The case was that the defendant was caught shoplifting at a Wal-Mart.There as a Lose prevention Officer who watched someone buy a DVD player and a printer,value of $550.00.As that person was leaving the store he handed his receit to the defendant.The defendant then took a cart and walked back to electonics and took the same items.The officer followed him the whole time and was on the phone with other officers who were watching the other guy that paid for the stuff.The story went that the guy who paid for the stuff just went outside and waited.......Well he must have known he was being watched because he took off running at one point just leaving the stuff on a bench outside.As the Defendant was exiting the store they busted him.Wal-Mart made a copy of the original reciet and also another one showing the stolen merchandise and the time stamp on the 2 was 17 minutes difference.

The defendants "story" was that he was there with a Girlfriend and she was in the store shopping while he was in the parking lot...Or someplace....We were not sure but anyways he was fixing a car..........When he was dome doing that he said he went into the store to look for her.....Called her on the cell a few times and even stood in line because it was busy and they were going to the beach when they were done shopping........He said that when he found her in the store she just throw the receit at him and walked out..........So that's why he had the stuff and walked out without paying for it.........Bunch of crap if you ask me.And his "story" just didn't jive for all the facts

Anyways.....After about 2 hours of being in the court room they then take us back to the deliberation room and that's were the fun starts.........There were 6 of us on the jury,3 guys and 3 ladies..........Well 4 of us knew he was guilty and 2 thought he was too but didn't feel that the state did a good enough job showing the evidence to say he was guilty.At one point the Bailiff came in with coffee and said that he wished we could hear the whole story but that it's the way of the Justice System and what makes it so great.
after about 2 hours it's 7 now and we've all been there about 11 hours or so.....We're hung and there is no turning the 2 so back into the courtroom we go to tell the Judge that.....He says we have to try one more time to reach a verdict and sends us back into the room again.Another half hour and we're back in the Courtroom with the fine ply of Hung Jury........They thank us and let us go.

As we are leaving the room the bailiff tells us that now that we are done he can tell us the Whole story..........Well the "Big Picture" that we were not told was that this is not the first time this guy has done this.He was also in another trial for 18 counts of Stolen purses,handbags,and wallets that they will be able to find him guilty on from one day at the same Wal-Mart.

So anyways....Over all it was an interesting day.I'm thankful that it wasn't a long trial and that it wasn't a murder case or something like that.......I don't know if I could take anything like that.About the only thing I did learn is that if I ever have to do it again I'll do it on a day I'm suppost to work instead of my day off.........And because of that I didn't get paid or anything.

The Kindness of Stangers,and wishing for Death

So.............The New Year is here and such a fine start it's had.......I started mine last Saturday the 31st.........Since I was going to go to my friend Alice's after work that night she didn't want to have to put my bike in her car so I said I would walk.......Well I started the 50 minuet walk and when I got about 3 minutes into it someone pulled over asking for directions.......I gave them directions and they offered to give me a ride to work...........Saved the 1.50 Bus fare so why not........So I get to work......Normal day for the must part but as they day went on I started to not feel the best.....No biggie......Maybe it's a cold or something..........I make it through the day and head to Alice's..........It's so nice to have a Friend that will cook for me......Surf and Turf dinner of Stake and Lobster.....Who could pass that up for New Years Eve.......After eating we decided that we would head to Epcot to see the Fireworks at Midnight.....I still wasn't feeling all that hot so I lay down on the couch.....2 hours later she wakes me up to say it's time to go.I ask to be taken home because I still don't feel all that well and didn't want to be up till Midnight.......Just wanted to wish my pillow Happy New Years at that point.So I get home and have a glass of OJ........That's when it hit me like a brick.......Cold Sweat,aches,fever........Nothing worse then the Flu for New Years...........Well Sunday I had to go to work......Double Pay and all that I couldn't pass it up....I still felt like crap but I was determined to make it.........Well coughing all day and wishing I could just lay down and Die I made it for the 8 hour shift........But the Bike Ride home almost killed me..........I get home and I feel like I could just die and that's about how I felt for the next 24 hours or so.......Monday I did call into work Dead.......Tuesday I had plans with Alice to finally get me car.....After a few hoops I had to jump through and another 240.00 from the person that is still Bonded to my Sole for Bailing me out in the first place I was able to drive home that afternoon...........So now it's the 5th.....I drove to work today and it's just a nasty Head cold but other then that..........A fine Start to a New Year

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house,not a creature was stirring except for the mouse.
The stockings were hung from the chimney with care,but not for the mouse's because there wouldn't be anything there.
With Ma in her kerchief and I in my cap,I was feeling glad that I had someone on my lap.
The kids were asleep all snug in their bed,knowing they'd get just what they wanted from Santa,because that's what he said.
So out came the mouse with a small pitter patter."Just another day to me,just a little sadder."
He scampered through the house,what a lovable mouse,it's just a shame he felt like such a louse.
I wished and I wished and I thought "could it be?"Had Santa finally come through,for little old me?
So on went the night."It's the meaning for Christmas".That's what the little mouse sought."It's so easy for some,but I must give it more thought."
It's giving not taking.What a wondrous sight,so why little mouse must you put up a fight?

Well over the last 2 days I've gotten about 50 cards and letters from Lawyers about my situation.........Slime Balls all of them..........Only 2 of them sent anything that wasn't just a form letter for their service.........Well I talked to one of them and I may end up hiring him just because it would make some of my ordeal a little simpler.

So this afternoon at work I'm standing outside having my afternoon smoke brake.....I look down and there is a 5$ folded just laying there in the street.....Don't think anything of it and I stuff it in my pocket....Thinking....Well......Not like I don't need an extra 5 bucks.........I finish my smoke and I'm headed back in and I figure I'll add that five with the one I have in my pocket......Go and unfold that 5 and sure as shit there is a zero behind that 5...........Guess someone is Smiling down on me to let me find a 50$ bill..........Didn't keep it very long though because I still own the guy that sold me his bike another 50 but still.....It's 50$ I didn't have at noon today

WHY DO I KEEP FUCKIN' UP

So......Wednesday...........I planned on meeting Alice out at MGM for the spectacle of Lights and then a little shopping at DTD..........Well I get to the park around 1sh and did a lot of People watching,went on a few rides.Anyways......she gets there at about 7 or so and we walk down and check out the lights.........Very nice and everything......Although we both comment that some of the lights were out,not just one or 2 lights but whole strings and sections of the figures.......Anyways......We leave there and head to DTD........That's were is went down hill fast and I watched one of the more deadly skeletons I have in my graveyard closet come to life.......To flash back.....back in Feb of 2002 when I changed my Drivers license from MN to FL I wrote a check out for it........Well the check bounced and Zippy the Pinhead never did anything about it.......Jump to Dec of 2003 when I go to get my tags again........I'm told at that time about the bad check and what I have to do to fix that and to get tags for 2004...........Once again.....Zippy the Pinhead did nothing......See a pattern here??............Jump to July of 05......Zippy it pulled over for no tags so he's tkted for that and told that he must get those or his license will be revoked.............Guess what Pinhead did..........Yep.........Not a God damb thing.................So......At about 9:30....As I was pulling into DTD there was a car behind me..........That's when I found that there is atleast one thing worse then having to ride "Little Planet"

13 Hours later I'm Bonded to Alice for my Sole.......And the simple fact that it was her day off,she had the means,and was willing to Bail me out...........At this point I have to take every day at every second because I still really don't know what I'm going to do.............Short of doing something that would be,as I like to call it "The Quiters way out".......I have to remember that there are people like my Parents,Alice,and most of all that Wonderful Higher Power that will help me as best they can while I work this one out.
